We are thrilled to announce the united product appendix. This requested feature enables better customization across all templates.
The change is scheduled for release on January 7, 2025. If you are an addon developer, please review the changes described below now and adjust your addons accordingly. On the release date, these improvements will be rolled out to the majority of customers. E-shops using Deferred Template Updates will have time until January 21, 2025 to modify their customizations and accept the update.

switched all category-appendix CSS class names to product-appendix
wrapped appendixes with product-appendixes CSS class names in:
product detail and gifts
full cart & cart widget
order process
checkout summary and recapitulation
top products
latest rating reviews
search results
wrapped appendix in breadcrumbs with appendix CSS class name
set visual patterns for product appendixes that follow simple rules:
appendix inside of heading (h1-h6) is displayed:
as subheading below the product name
size is always smaller (e.g. apendix inside of h2 has h3 size)
appendix in highlighted product in product listing tiles:
as subheading below the product name
size is set to base font size
in other places the appendix is displayed on the same line
appendix is greyed out compared to the normal text in places where it was appropriate
Preview
You can preview the changes by running the command shoptet.helpers.enableUpdatePreview('unify_product_appendix') in the browser console.
