Here’s what’s new in API that’s been in production since October 1, 2026!

New Features:
Webhooks with payload
All API users can now receive the full entity data directly in webhook notifications. With payload delivery, the notification body carries the complete entity, so you can:
process orders, invoices, products, or customers as soon as the notification arrives, without a follow-up API call
reduce the number of requests your integration sends to the Shoptet API
keep your integration in sync with the shop in near real time
A new PATCH /api/shipping-methods/{guid} endpoint updates an existing shipping method, including its pricelists. An addon can only update shipping methods it created. See the documentation.
Async product image insertion
A new asynchronous batch endpoint inserts product images. The endpoint returns a jobId with HTTP 202. Invalid rows are logged and skipped without stopping the batch. See the documentation.
Improvements:
Product GUID in productVariant webhooks
The instance code of productVariant:* webhooks now includes the GUID of the parent product, so the variant can be identified without an additional lookup. See the documentation.
