API Release news from July 28, 2025

Here’s what’s news in API Release that’s been added to production!

Breaking Changes:

As a reminder – We implement a Rate-limiter functionality on all integrations

• With effect from 1.8.2025 we are starting to implement 7.5 times “over-limit” hard validation of the rate-limiter on all integrations
• This will be followed by implementations that exceed the limits by more than 3.5x and finally we will roll out to all integrations.
• Please note: there will be a gap of about a month between each phase, with an expected completion date of 1.10.2025

Product and variant code format unification

• From 17.7.2025 product / variant attribute code is now required to be in the following format ^[a-zA-Z0-9_\/ \-\.]+$ with length between 1 and 64 characters as is defined in our documentation https://podpora.shoptet.cz/import-produktu/
• Also please note that this is the same product code format as before, only from this date it will be strictly validated in API

Bulgarian transition to EURO

• Please note that Bulgaria will be transitioning to EUR currency since 1.1.2026
• The convergence exchange rate is fixed at 1 EUR = 1.95583 BGN
• There are number of steps and deadlines, for more information visit the official websites, for brief summary, you can use https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bulgaria_and_the_euro
• From  1.1.2026 all Bulgarian shops will be switched to EUR. In the meantime, documents in API can still be created with BGN currency.
• Prices in PDF documents will be displayed both in EUR and BGN prices.
• As for the front end modifications (display of both EUR and BGN prices), more news will follow from the FE team.

New features:

List of all order history (remarks) snapshot

• Using this endpoint, you can get list of all remarks with detailed info of each remark asynchronously.
• You can filter by orderCodes, creationTimeFrom, creationTimeTo and userId

List of all product prices across all price lists snapshot

• Using this endpoint, you can get list of all products with basic data and its prices across all price lists.

New functionality:

Improved order completion support (GET)

• We have added a new completion section to our order detail and snapshot responses
• Please note, that this section replaces older amountCompleted attribute, which has now been deprecated
