API Release news from August 05, 2024

Here’s what’s news in API Release that’s been in production since August 05, 2024!

New features:

New brand unique identifier

• To provide an even better integration environment, we have created a unique identifier for brands, in the form of guid
• We currently support on endpoints both – the original code and the new guid
  Please note: We will no longer support for code (as the primary identifier) as of 01/11/2024 – so please make sure that new integrations already respect this statement

Variant main image identifier

• We made an improvement based on your feedback, where you pointed out that the variants have no direct identifier whether the main image is set at the variant level or inherited from the product, which complicates further operations
• We created here a new attribute for better and more straightforward identification
  • This attribute is called isProductDefaultImage and you can find it on endpoints such as Product Detail, Product List, Product Snapshot

New endpoints for GET & PATCH X+Y settings

• If you offer the option of X+Y discounts, we have enabled more detailed settings of such discounts, namely setting the checkout behaviour and setting the display in categories in two new endpoints
  • GET X+Y discounts settings
  • PATCH X+Y discounts settings update
    • Please note here: All settings are optional, but at least one should be present. When updating enableInCashdesk setting, on HU projects will throw an exception. If you’re targeting a discount to a specific category, right now, we only include products that have that category as their primary one. If you want to include all products in that category in the discount, not just the ones in the primary category, please use categoryTargeting attribute with all-categories value.

Improvements:

Enriched GET Product reviews endpoint

• We have enriched the endpoint GET Product reviews based on your feedbacks with attributes that better enable communication with customers who have added a review
• So now this endpoint includes email and customerGuid

Extendended response with images

• we’ve extended response with a property mention, if the image in the images array is the mainImage
• this extension has been applied to the following endpoints:
  • Product detail
  • List of all products
  • List of product’s images
  • Product’s images update

• Simplify the identification of sold out and restocked goods – BETA

• Bring a improvement for easier work in case of inventory control
