API Release news from March 20, 2026

Here’s what’s new in API release that’s been in production since March 20, 2026!

Breaking Changes:

Request ID added to all API responses

• Reminder: on April 9, 2026 we will extend all response bodies with a new section metadata with the requestId parameter. You can find more information in the previous release news.

Mandatory field countryCode in orders

• Reminder: the field countryCode in Orders will be mandatory in our POST and PATCH order endpoints as mentioned in the the previous release news.

New location of reviews endpoints

• Reminder: mentioned in the previous release news – will be deleted by May 4th, 2026.

Upcoming credit notes & orders upcoming validation changes

• Reminder: mentioned in the previous release news.

New features:

New version of SDK

• We have a new version of SDK v0.3.2 – see more information here.

Creation of customer group

• New POST endpoint for creating customer group.

Volume discount in order item types

• Volume discount is added as a new type of order item. See all order item types here.

Update product order in category by product code

• It is now possible to update product order in category by guid or code in this endpoint.

Bugs fixed:

Fixed article URL structure

• Fixed article URL generation in the API so that API output matches correctly the URL configuration defined in the administration, section Marketing – Basic SEO – URL Structure (more info about url structure here).

Multishop:

As part of our Multishop initiative, we are preparing new endpoints and changes in the API. New features from the latest release:

• New structure in sales channel detail endpoint
  • All current attributes were moved from the root to the salesChannel entity, see more here.
  • Reminder: as a result, Online-stores and In-stores endpoints were marked as deprecated and will be removed by April 4th, 2025.

• New field abilities added to sales channel list and detail API responses – see more here.

Please note: Due to the ongoing development of our Multishop initiative, all new endpoints connected to Multishop/sales channels are subject to change and we do not commit that this is the final version of these endpoints and changes.
